Responsibilities:
Operation and maintenance of VoIP soft switching platform
Technical support for enterprise customers
Research and development of new soft switch features and hardware.
Installation and maintenance of SBCs, proxying equipment, TDM interconnection hardware, etc.
Requirements
In-depth knowledge of SIP
Understanding of VoIP switching methodologies such as LCR, SIP Trunking, PSTN interconnection, QoS, NAT traversal.
Experience with VoIP specific hardware and software.
Ability to quickly analyze a multifaceted network and diagnose potential problems
Knowledge of core routing protocols such as BGP and MPLS
